Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 24, 2026. Plain-English summary written for the closed beta; the final policy will be reviewed by counsel before public launch.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, used to send sign-in links and important account notices. Optional: display name, avatar URL, bio.
- Apps you build: the prompts you submit, the code generated in response, and the public/private flag on each app.
- Usage metadata: number of generations per billing period, last sign-in time, basic activity (stars, follows, comments).
- Billing: if you upgrade, Stripe stores your payment details. We store only a customer ID, subscription status, and plan tier.
- Server logs: standard request logs (IP, user agent, path, response code) retained for 30 days for abuse mitigation, then deleted.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your data.
- We don't show ads.
- We don't train any model - ours or anyone else's - on your prompts beyond the inference call required to fulfill the request.
Sub-processors
To run Tweezer we share specific data with the following processors:
- Anthropic - receives your prompt + the app's existing code when you generate. Subject to Anthropic's privacy policy.
- Amazon Web Services - Postgres database, Redis, server hosting, email delivery via SES.
- Cloudflare - R2 stores generated app files; Pages serves deployed apps.
- Stripe - payments and subscription billing if you upgrade.
- Sentry - error reports; may contain stack traces and request paths, never your prompts or generated code.
Your rights
- Export your apps and account data - email us and we'll send a JSON dump within 30 days.
- Delete your account - same channel; we hard-delete account records and generated artefacts within 30 days, except where retention is required for tax/legal reasons (Stripe billing records, up to 7 years).
- Public-by-default apps are visible to anyone with the URL; setting an app to private removes it from listings immediately.
Cookies
One first-party session cookie keeps you signed in. No third-party tracking, no analytics cookies. We use localStorage in the editor to persist your in-progress prompt across reloads - that data never leaves your browser.
Children
Tweezer isn't intended for users under 13. If we learn an account belongs to a child under 13 we'll delete it.
Changes
Material changes will be announced by email to active accounts at least 7 days before they take effect.
